What I don’t understand is the way people deal with childhood/adolescent obesity. Why do we harp on parents about healthy eating for their child. I’m almost sixteen, so if I was obese, it’d be considered childhood obesity, however, I cannot remember the last time I saw another person my age eat something unhealthy because of their parents. I plan what I eat, and how often I eat. Sure I eat supper with my family but not breakfast, or any of my snacks or my lunch, those are all my decisions. I have friends whose parents pack them lunch, and then they go and buy garlic fingers or pizza from the school cafeteria. Whose decision led to those consequences? Certainly not the parents. So why aren’t we being given the lectures and the blame for childhood obesity. Adults can’t change adolescent obesity, but we can. So, why aren’t we?

Ha! I actually know her! She used to be a fashion model :) <3
I’ve been trying to eat healthy, eat clean, but I’m in high school, which means no fish, eggs, nuts, or kiwi. Any lunch ideas that aren’t soup, brown rice and assorted veggies, or chicken?
